The JLPT test is a 180 marks worth two tier exam which is divided into 60 and 120 marks exams. The first tier has 2 levels: N4 worth 120 marks and N5 worth 60 marks, the second tier includes N1,N2 and N3, each worth 60 marks. In order to pass, you must score a minimum of 19 on 60 and 38 on 120.
